Synthetic mica does not contain any hydroxyl (OH) , and its temperature resistance and thermal stability are better than that of natural mica, and the service temperature is about 1100 ℃. Synthetic mica has less impurities and better transparency. Except the aforementioned its hardness is slightly higher than that of natural mica.
Synthetic mica can completely replace natural mica and is a new type of high temperature resistant insulating material with special and excellent properties.
